Barmah Park Restaurant & Cellar Door

Barmah Park is a cellar door and restaurant on Moorooduc Highway, pairing modern Australian food with a deck that looks over the vineyard. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating, so you can settle in for a long lunch with the dog beside you and the vines in view.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome on the outdoor deck, which is semi-covered and offers some shade. They are not permitted inside the main restaurant, so book or ask for an outdoor table. Staff often bring water bowls, but a collapsible bowl of your own is safer. Keep your dog leashed and settled around other diners and staff.

Max: This is a restaurant visit, not a tasting-room dash. Book the deck specifically, because outdoor tables are where dogs go and they fill first.

The vibe

A full sit-down restaurant rather than a quick stop, with a well-regarded menu where slow-cooked lamb and beef brisket draw praise, alongside tastings of the estate wines including pinot noir and pinot gris. Weekends are busy, so arrive early or book ahead. Suits a leisurely lunch more than a flying visit.

Getting there and parking

Find it at 945 Moorooduc Highway, directly on the highway and easy to reach via Peninsula Link, with a free, spacious on-site car park including accessible spaces. Doors open 11am from Wednesday to Sunday, running late on Friday and Saturday, and it closes Monday and Tuesday.
