Peninsula Holiday Park

Peninsula Holiday Park is a well-kept caravan and camping park in Dromana with direct access to the foreshore end of town, and it is one of the few Peninsula bases that takes dogs on its sites. Expect clean amenities and an easygoing, unpretentious set-up rather than a resort.

Bringing the dog

Dogs are welcome on the caravan and camping sites at the managers' discretion, and they must stay on a leash whenever they are outside your setup. A dedicated dog run runs along part of the grounds, so there is somewhere on site for a proper stretch.

Whether pets can join you inside a cabin is decided case by case, so ask when booking rather than assuming. No pet fees or size limits are published, so confirm both directly before you pay.

Pepsi: Book the site, then ask about the cabin. And bring your own bowls and bedding, because the park does not supply dog kit.

Where the legs get worked

The Dromana foreshore and the main strip are close by for on-leash walks, with seasonal rules posted along the swimming beach. For off-leash time, Hillview Community Reserve has a large off-leash area with a swimmable dam, and the fenced Pier Street Reserve dog park is the secure option nearby.
