Hapi Cafe & Restaurant Dromana

Hapi Cafe and Restaurant is a licensed, all-day spot at 197 Point Nepean Road, opposite Dromana Beach. It runs breakfast, brunch and lunch seven days, with modern Chinese dinners Thursday to Saturday. For dogs, the front terrace is the appeal, with bay views straight across the road.

Getting there. Free street parking runs along Point Nepean Road, and the large foreshore car park opposite is often easier when you have a dog in tow. Entry and seating are step-free.

Nearby with the dogs. Dromana Beach and the foreshore walking track are directly across the road. Dog access on the sand follows seasonal on-leash and off-leash times, so check the Mornington Peninsula Shire signage before letting them run.

Best either side of a beach walk, with a terrace table facing the water. Weekday mornings are the calmest.
