Stevens Reserve is a big green playing field on Stevens Street in Fremantle, home ground of the Fremantle District Cricket Club. Perimeter paths make it a simple on-lead loop.
Lead rules
The City of Fremantle requires dogs on lead here. Dogs are banned from the centre wicket and the practice wickets, especially when covers are down or play is on.
The walk
Concrete and asphalt footpaths circle the open turf, with mature trees along the edges for patchy shade. The middle of the field is exposed.
Bins sit around the perimeter. Carry water in warmer months, and expect parking on Stevens Street to fill up on match days.
Max: Stay well off the wickets, even when there is no play. Dogs are banned from them.

Stop for coffee at Leisure and Bean or Kapara Cafe.
Quietest when there is no cricket match or training on.
