City of Kwinana runs it, and it draws a steady local crowd.

The rules

Supervision at all times, waste in the dedicated poo bins, and free poo bags on site so there is no excuse. Send small or timid dogs to the separate enclosed area so they are not bowled over in the main run. One practical warning: feedback on the main entrance gate suggests it needs careful handling, so check the latch behind you on the way in and out rather than trusting it fell shut.

The setup

A big open enclosure with climbable obstacles, ample benches and shaded structures, and a water fountain for dogs. Shade is limited during the high-sun hours, so plan around the middle of the day in warmer months. Wheelchair-accessible parking bays and step-free entry paths sit right beside the park, which makes it an easy outing for owners with mobility needs.

Max: double gate, big lawn, obstacles to climb, and a small-dog yard at the far end. Check the latch behind you though, because the main gate is the one weak point.

Getting there

By car, take the Kwinana Freeway and exit at Rowley Road, then continue via Honcho Pass into the estate. Accessible parking sits adjacent to the park. Bus stops on the main Honeywood Estate thoroughfares are within walking distance.

When to go
