Peace Park Parmelia

Fully fenced and off-lead, Peace Park Parmelia is a City of Kwinana dog exercise area that splits its layout into separate small-dog and large/medium-dog zones. That separation is the single reason to make the trip: you can work your dog in the right crowd without managing size mismatches at the gate.

The rules. Off-lead is permitted throughout because the entire park is fenced. Dogs must remain under effective control at all times, and owners of reactive dogs are expected to manage them responsibly. Standard City of Kwinana dog exercise area regulations apply.

Getting there. Address is 4 Parmelia Ave, Parmelia WA 6167, adjacent to the larger Peace Park Reserve. Access is directly off Parmelia Avenue with residential street parking next to the reserve. Parmelia is centrally located, within a few kilometres of the Kwinana Freeway.

Nearby with the dogs. Both are a short drive from Parmelia: The Green Barista Cafe in Medina and Bliss Momos in Wellard.

When to go. Busiest during weekday evenings, with peaks on Wednesday and Friday afternoons through evenings, Thursday evenings, and Saturday evenings. Quietest on Sunday and Monday nights. Aim for a weeknight if your dog likes a crowd, or a Sunday or Monday evening for a calmer run.
