When to go. Weekend mornings draw the biggest crowds for socialising. Weekdays from mid-morning to mid-afternoon are noticeably quieter if your dog prefers space. The scattered trees offer some shade, but the open grass can still get hot in summer, so aim for early morning or late afternoon visits during the warmer months.
