Fairbanks Drive Reserve Fenced Dog Park

Fairbanks Drive Reserve in Paralowie has a fully fenced, secure dog park set inside a larger reserve with a playground, a multi-sport court and open lawn, so there's plenty to do if you bring the family along too.

The rules. Dogs must stay under effective voice control even inside the fenced area. Owners are required to pick up after their dogs using the bins provided, and any aggressive dog needs to be removed straight away. Outside the fenced enclosure, in the wider reserve, dogs must go back on the leash.

What's there. Secure perimeter fencing, public toilets on site, and undercover seating and picnic areas. The council supplies doggy bags. The fenced area sits next to a playground, tennis court, basketball court and the reserve's Rage Cage multi-sport space.

Getting there. The park is at 48-50 Fairbanks Drive, Paralowie SA 5108, just off Bolivar Road, with street parking along Fairbanks Drive. Bus stop 52 on Bolivar Road is a short walk from the entrance, and the entry and parking are wheelchair accessible.

Nearby with the dogs. Kingswood Crescent Reserve Dog Park is a few minutes away on Bolivar Road if you want a second fenced option nearby.

When to go. Sunday afternoons and weekday late afternoons are the busiest windows. Mornings and weekday midday tend to be quiet, giving your dog more room to run. The lawn stays lush but can get damp or muddy after rain, so a towel in the car is worth it, and it's worth keeping an eye on the main gate when the park is busy.
