Kingswood Crescent Reserve Fenced Dog Park

Kingswood Crescent Reserve on Bolivar Road is a fully fenced off-leash dog park in the City of Salisbury, split into separate zones for big and small dogs, so it works whether you have a boisterous kelpie or a nervous cavoodle.

The rules. Dogs must stay under effective control and in sight at all times. The small dog zone is capped at 35cm at the shoulder, so check the gate signage before letting a bigger dog in. Close both gates properly on entry and exit, and pick up after your dog using the bins provided.

The reserve also has outdoor fitness equipment and a basketball court next to the dog area, and entry is wheelchair accessible.

Getting there. The address is Bolivar Road, Paralowie SA 5108. Parking is informal and limited along Bolivar Road itself, so arrive early on weekends if you want a spot close to the gate. Bus stops on the surrounding streets are a short walk away.

Watch-outs. The large dog area can turn muddy after heavy rain, so bring a towel for the car. Council etiquette also discourages bringing toys or throwing balls, since it can trigger resource guarding between dogs that don't know each other.

When to go. Early mornings (7-9am) and late afternoons (4-6pm) on weekdays draw the regulars, and weekend mornings get busy too. Late morning on a weekday is the quiet window if your dog needs room to settle in without a crowd.
