Myrtle Bank's dog park, Scammell Reserve, is a fenced off-leash area at 59 Fisher Street, Myrtle Bank. The single defining catch: off-leash access runs from 5pm to 10am daily only. Outside those hours, dogs must be on a leash inside the reserve.
The rules. The fenced perimeter is what makes this spot work - dogs can run freely inside it during the off-leash window. Keep your dog leashed when arriving and leaving, and within 5 metres of playgrounds or public gatherings. Effective voice control is required at all times. Use the provided waste bags or bring your own, and bin everything.
What is there. A large open green space with established shady trees, picnic tables, benches, and shaded seating. Water bowls and bins are usually provided but bring your own water to be safe.
Getting there. Street parking is available nearby on Fisher Street. If you are coming by bus, stops sit along Greenhill Road - check Adelaide Metro for current routes through the City of Unley area.
Nearby with the dogs. Combine a morning run with a coffee stop at Sublime Cafe in Clarence Park or HARK! Coffee Roasters in Malvern, both a short drive away. Just Down The Road in Unley is another solid pick for post-walk breakfast.

For a quiet session, target weekday mid-morning to early afternoon. If your dog is timid or still finding its confidence, avoid the before-9am and 4pm-to-6pm rushes entirely. Check current signage at the reserve gate for any council rule changes before you let your dog off.
