Spill the Beans Cafe at 89 Devereux Road, Linden Park is a neighbourhood brunch spot in Adelaide's eastern suburbs that explicitly welcomes dogs on its outdoor veranda. It pours ST. ALi coffee, runs a generous all-day breakfast menu, and keeps a community feel that explains the 7am queue on weekends.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome on the outdoor veranda, leashed and settled close by. It is a tight, high-traffic seating area rather than a sprawling garden, so a well-mannered dog matters. Water bowls are typically available and staff have been known to help with orders at the door if you are wrangling a lead and a pram. Keep your dog close; the veranda is a pass-through zone, not an off-leash corner.

The vibe and the menu

The menu blends brunch staples with Asian-fusion signatures: creamy miso mushroom udon, the Korean fried chicken waffle, chilli scrambled eggs, salmon bagels, Belgian waffles and a hashbrown stack, with extensive vegetarian and vegan coverage. The drinks list runs to matcha, iced strawberry matcha lattes and Thai pinky milk alongside the ST. ALi espresso. Hours are 7am to 3pm daily with the kitchen closing at 2pm, so order brunch before then.

Getting there and parking

The cafe sits on Devereux Road in Linden Park, with free on-site parking plus street parking along Devereux Road and the side streets. Weekend mornings are the crunch, so arriving closer to 7am gets you a veranda table and an easy park. The leafy residential streets suit a pre- or post-coffee walk.

Close by with the dogs
