Conyngham Street Dog Park

Conyngham Street Dog Park is the primary dedicated off-leash dog park in the City of Burnside, located at 65A Conyngham Street, Glenside. Recently redeveloped in 2023/24 to add a dedicated small dog zone alongside the large dog area, it is a fully fenced space designed for safe socialising and exercise.

The rules. Dogs must be on a leash (maximum 2 metres) when entering and exiting the parking area and walking to and from the park. Inside the designated off-leash area, dogs must be under effective voice control at all times. Use the on-site dog bag dispensers and clean up after your dog immediately.

What's there. The park is fully fenced with double-gated entries and split into separate large and small dog zones. Expect plenty of greenery, natural shade from established trees, and benches where owners can sit. Water points feed into pond areas, and on-site dog bag dispensers are provided.

Watch-outs. Some areas become muddy and water-logged after rain, particularly around the pond points. Plan footwear accordingly and expect mess if it has rained recently.
