Paul Conti Park Fenced Dog Park

Paul Conti Park on Ragnor Road in Hemmant is a fully fenced off-leash park in Brisbane's bayside, sitting beside a themed playground and scooter track that makes it an easy family stop rather than a dog-only detour. The high fencing is the feature that matters: it suits dogs that bolt, or young dogs not yet reliable off lead, because a mistake here does not end on a road.

Brisbane City Council's off-leash conditions apply: dogs stay under effective control and responsive to voice commands even inside the fence, gates get secured behind you, waste goes in the bins provided, and registration and vaccination are the baseline expectations. Weekday afternoons and weekend mornings draw the biggest crowds, mostly locals with regulars' dogs. A midweek morning or early afternoon gets you the space to yourselves. Because the playground and scooter track sit right next door, expect foot traffic and kids at the fence line on weekends, which is worth knowing if your dog is fence-reactive.

Getting there and parking

The park sits close to a Gateway Motorway entrance, which makes it a practical stop if you are passing through eastern Brisbane rather than a destination in itself. Free street parking is plentiful along Ragnor Road. Hemmant train station is a short walk away, one of the few dog parks in the pocket you can reach without a car.
