The wider park adds a gravel-and-grass walkway beside the creek, a children's playground, barbecue facilities and outdoor fitness equipment. There are no public toilets on site, and it is worth bringing your own water for the dog.

Getting there. Access is from Bognor Street (85A) or via the Wondall Road side of the park, about five minutes from the Gateway Motorway. Parking is on-street; there is no dedicated car park at the Bognor Street entrance. TransLink buses run along Wynnum Road and Wondall Road with a short walk in.

Watch-outs. The creek-side track and the off-leash field hold water after heavy rain and turn muddy fast.

Nearby with the dogs. Grumpy & Lovely Cafe and The Coffee Club Tingalpa handle the post-run coffee, and Crafty Monk Brewing on Wynnum Road does a dog-friendly lunch. Kiawanah Park Fenced Dog Park is the closest alternative fenced run.

When to go. Weekend mornings before 9am and weekday evenings from about 4:30pm are the busy social windows. For a nervous or reactive dog, weekday mid-mornings are reliably quiet. Good for dogs that need real fencing but still want a proper walk attached.
