Robinson Park Fenced Dog Park

Robinson Park Fenced Dog Park sits off Bognor Street in Tingalpa, a fully fenced off-leash area inside a larger green space with a creek-side walking track, a playground and barbecues. The combination of fencing plus adjoining trail is the drawcard: a secure run first, then a leashed creek walk to finish, all in one stop on Brisbane's bayside side of town.

The dog setup

The on-leash creek walk doubles as the cool-down, so plan the route before you unclip. Dogs stay on-leash until they are inside the fenced area, then standard Brisbane City Council off-leash rules take over: carry a leash at all times, keep your dog under effective control, pick up immediately, and leash and remove any dog behaving aggressively. Declared dangerous and restricted breed dogs are not permitted in off-leash areas.

What is on site

Secure perimeter fencing, mature shade trees and scattered seating inside the yard, with enough open grass for a real fetch session rather than tight-circle socialising. The wider park adds a gravel-and-grass walkway beside the creek, a children's playground, barbecue facilities and outdoor fitness equipment, so the household split works in one visit. There are no public toilets on site, and it is worth bringing your own water for the dog.

Getting there and parking

Access is from Bognor Street or via the Wondall Road side of the park, about five minutes from the Gateway Motorway, which makes it an easy first stop coming off the bay-side arterial. Parking is on-street; there is no dedicated car park at the Bognor Street entrance, and the Wondall Road side is the easier entry when that parking runs tight. TransLink buses along Wynnum Road put you within walking distance.
