Known for. Panoramic North Pine River views, solid coffee and light breakfast items, and a side line in bait, tackle and ice for anglers heading to the boat ramp opposite. The cafe also hosts occasional car and bike meet-ups, so expect a busier, noisier crowd on those mornings.

Getting there and parking. The cafe is at 1000 Dohles Rocks Road, Griffin, directly opposite the Dohles Rocks Boat Ramp. Free street parking runs along Dohles Rocks Road, with limited extra space near the boat ramp. Weekend mornings get busy with the fishing and cafe crowd together, so weekdays are the easier bet for parking.

Nearby with the dogs. The Dohles Rocks foreshore is directly across the road for a leashed river walk. Kurwongbah Park and Pine Rivers Park, both roughly ten minutes' drive away, offer larger spaces for a proper off-leash run before or after coffee.

When to go. Weekday mornings are quietest and easiest for parking. If you want the water views without the boat-ramp bustle, aim outside peak weekend fishing hours, and confirm current dog rules at the counter since outdoor cafe policies can shift seasonally.
