Mango Hill Train Station Dog Park

This fenced off-leash park sits right beside Mango Hill station on Kinsellas Road East, which makes it one of the easier dog parks in the area to reach without a car. Separate enclosures for large and small dogs and open grass near a small lake are the reasons it works as a regular local stop.

The rules. Dogs are off-leash inside the fenced areas only. Keep your dog in sight and under voice control, pick up after it and use the bins, and remove any dog showing aggression. Personal toys are fine but watch for resource guarding in a shared space.

What's there. Dedicated small-dog and large-dog zones behind secure perimeter fencing, bench seating, accessible pathways and mature trees for shade. Water is generally available, though it is worth carrying your own on hot days.

Getting there. The station is the standout: the park is right next to Mango Hill Station on the Redcliffe Peninsula line. Driving in, use Kinsellas Road East, with parking near the station and park entrance.

When to go. Early mornings and early afternoons are the calmest. Weekday late afternoons and evenings pick up as commuters and locals arrive. Good for anyone travelling by train, and for shaded shelter when the sun is high.
