Sunstone Circuit Park Fenced Dog Park

Sunstone Circuit Park's fenced dog run at 27 to 37 Bonnet Parade is a tidy neighbourhood enclosure inside a wider community park, popular with Mango Hill locals for its double-gate security and small agility setup.

The dog setup

The enclosure has secure perimeter fencing with a double-gate entry, a handful of agility obstacles such as tunnels and jumps, bench seating and partial shade. Off-leash applies only inside the fence; everywhere else in the parkland and on the footpaths dogs stay on lead.

Stay inside with your dog under voice control, work the double gates properly so nobody slips out, and bin the waste. Bags are usually stocked but run short, so carry your own. Water taps inside the fence have been inconsistent, so bring water, especially through summer.

The vibe

This is a compact, popular space rather than a wide-open run, and it sits next to the kids' playground and fitness gear, so it can feel busy and stimulated. Weekday mornings and mid-week evenings are the calm windows, while weekend mornings from about 8am to 10am draw the regular crowd.

Worth knowing: easygoing, social dogs get the most out of it here. If yours is shy or reactive, pick an off-peak slot or try the larger Capestone Dog Park across the suburb.

Getting there and parking

Street parking runs along Bonnet Parade close to the entrance. Mango Hill train station is a five to ten minute walk, and the surrounding residential paths make it easy to arrive on foot.

Grab a coffee at Basecamp in nearby North Lakes on the way home, or stretch the outing with a second fenced run at Aurora Boulevard Park.
