Seppeltsfield Wines is the historic estate at the heart of Seppeltsfield, founded in 1878, with a palm-lined entrance and grounds large enough for a proper on-lead walk between tastings.

Dog access and setup. Dogs on a lead are welcome to walk the estate's pathways and grounds, but they are not permitted inside the Cellar Door, the tasting areas, or the Fino Restaurant's indoor dining. The café gardens will take a dog on a lead if you are eating or drinking there, and Fino's outdoor terrace can work with prior arrangement. Nearby with the dogs. Seppeltsfield Road itself is a scenic, palm-lined stretch worth a slow walk or drive with the dog. Gnaraity Reserve is a nearby option for a proper walk, and several neighbouring Barossa wineries allow dogs in outdoor seating areas, though it pays to check each one before you arrive.

When to go. Weekday mornings are quieter for a walk through the grounds before the tour buses arrive. Good for owners who want a big-name Barossa stop without leaving the dog in the car, provided you stick to the outdoor areas.
