Two Hands Wines

Two Hands Wines is a boutique Barossa shiraz producer on Nitschke Road in Marananga, known for its Garden Series and flagship reds. The cellar door has resident winery dogs on site, and the sun-filled deck is where you and yours will be tasting.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome on the outdoor deck and courtyard, which has mural art and plenty of open space. The indoor cellar door, with its fireplace and old bakehouse museum setting, is the more formal space, so treat the deck as the default dog spot and ask staff if you want to bring them further in. Leads stay on at all times. Water bowls are generally available, and staff are used to dogs on the property.

Max: With resident dogs on site, let yours say hello properly before you settle in. Not every greeter is as relaxed as the deck suggests.

The vibe

Premium, well-reviewed shiraz and an eight-plus wine flight tasting, with staff regularly singled out for being knowledgeable and friendly. Walk-ins are fine, but booking is worth it on weekends when the deck fills, and a weekday tasting gets you the deck without the crowd. There is no on-site accommodation, so this is a stop, not a stay.

Getting there and parking

The address is 272 Nitschke Road, Marananga, with on-site parking right at the cellar door. It sits along the popular Seppeltsfield Road wine corridor, so it slots neatly into a Barossa day loop. Tastings run daily from 11am to 5pm.
