Where the dog goes. Dogs are welcome in the scenic outdoor seating and decking areas around the cellar door, kept on a lead at all times. They are generally not allowed inside the main tasting room or the on-site restaurant, so plan to sit outside or check the current policy on arrival. Water bowls are often provided, but bring your own bowl and treats to be safe.

Worth knowing. The wines lean adventurous for the Barossa, with Zinfandel, Tempranillo and Viognier alongside the reds, and there is a restaurant on site serving lunch. The views over the ranges are the other reason to linger.

Getting there. It is a short drive from the Angaston township, with on-site parking right at the cellar door. It sits conveniently between Tanunda and Angaston if you are stringing together a few stops.

When to go. Open 7 days, 11am to 5pm. Weekday lunch is the calmer window for an outdoor table. Bring shade cover for the dog on hot afternoons, as the deck can catch full sun.
