Pet policy
Dogs on lead across Dick Piercy Park and kept out of the playground; it is not signed as an off-lead area here (City of Melville).
Paved footpaths wrap right around Dick Piercy Park, a neighbourhood green at 5 Tamworth Way on the corner of Somerville Boulevard and North Lake Road. It makes an easy, flat circuit for a leashed dog.

The City of Melville allows dogs on lead across the open space here. Dogs are not allowed in the children's playground area.
Treat the whole park as on lead, as it is not signed as an off-lead exercise area.
The walk
The footpaths run around and through wide lawns scattered with mature trees. Along the way you pass the playground, barbecues, picnic seating and a tennis hit-up wall.
There are public toilets, and parking is on the surrounding streets.

Grab a coffee at LA Moon cafe, or drive a few minutes to the Bibra Lake Loop for a longer walk.
The smooth, level paths suit older dogs and short legs. Bring water for the dog.
