Waterloo Village Caravan Park

Waterloo Village Caravan Park is a small, quiet park at 14749 South Western Highway in Picton East, under 10 minutes from central Bunbury. It is known as a dog-friendly park with large grassed sites, and it mixes permanent residents with casual travellers, so a quick call before you roll in is part of the deal here.

Dogs are welcome on the grounds, including the grassed powered and unpowered sites, and they must be kept on a lead at all times around the park. Cabin rules are not published: some caravan parks allow dogs in cabins and some do not, and it can vary by cabin type, so confirm with management on 08 9725 4434 before booking a cabin with a dog. No pet fee is published either. Bring your own dog bedding and waste bags and be self-sufficient on clean-up.

The park and its sites

Sites are big, grassy and shaded, suiting caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes, with straightforward access off the South Western Highway for larger rigs. The ablution block is clean and well maintained, there is a laundry, BBQ areas, drinking water and an on-site dump point for guests (outside visitors need permission and possibly a small fee for the dump point, so ring ahead). Casual site rates start from around $26 a night depending on site type and season. Part of the park is given over to permanent residents, which keeps it quiet but means short-term sites can be limited, so call before arriving. Close by with the dogs

Bunbury's pet-friendly beaches and foreshore walks are a short drive west.
