Mojo's Kitchen, Bar & Bottleshop sits on the Victoria Street strip at the heart of Bunbury's food scene, a relaxed, retro-leaning room doing contemporary Australian food with a serious local wine, gin and craft beer list attached. Dogs are welcome in the sheltered alfresco area out front, which makes it an easy stop on a Victoria Street crawl.

The dog setup

Dogs are permitted in the protected outdoor alfresco area on the footpath side, not indoors. Water bowls are often provided and staff have a reputation for being welcoming to dogs, but keep yours on lead and clear of the footpath traffic. There is shaded seating for warmer days, which matters on a Bunbury summer afternoon.

Breakfast and lunch are the strengths, with fresh small plates, sirloin, local seafood, a dedicated kids menu and plenty of vegetarian and gluten-free options. The bar runs a deep local and international wine list, rotating craft beers and signature cocktails, and there is an on-site bottleshop with a curated range for the road. Hours run Monday closed, then from late morning Tuesday to Thursday and from 8am on weekends. An afternoon happy hour fills the gap between the two sittings.

Getting there and parking

Find it on Victoria Street, Bunbury. Street parking runs out the front and on surrounding streets such as Wittenoom Street, with public car parks within walking distance. Victoria Street gets busy at peak meal times, so an off-peak table is easier with a dog.

Close by with the dogs

The Bunbury waterfront and Koombana Bay foreshore are a short walk for a sandy stroll before or after. For another dog-friendly table nearby, Vat 2 Restaurant takes dogs on its bay-facing terrace and Waters Edge Bistro is a third option on the water.
