Little Spencer Coffee Co

Little Spencer Coffee Co is a CBD bakehouse on Victoria Street that opens early and looks straight over Guppy Park, which makes it the natural first stop of a Bunbury morning walk. The dog setup is the best part: out front there is grass, not just a footpath, and the cafe keeps picnic rugs for spreading out on the lawn with the dog.

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating, including the grassed frontage facing the park. Staff will usually bring a water bowl if you ask. Keep the lead on at the footpath tables where foot traffic runs; on the lawn there is room to settle properly, which suits bigger dogs that hate being hemmed in. It is an easy stop after a lap of the park or before heading down to Koombana Bay.

Worth knowing

This is a proper bakehouse: house-made pastries, almond croissants, artisan sourdough and cookies, with breakfast and lunch alongside and ST. ALi coffee behind the machine. Toasties and croissants are the quick order of choice. Doors open at 6am Monday to Saturday (7am Sunday), so it suits the early crowd, with the Sunday trade running a shorter day until 2pm.

The address is 5/10 Victoria Street in central Bunbury (6230). Street parking runs along Victoria Street and there is a larger paid car park directly behind the cafe; both are easiest before 9am on weekdays.
