What visitors mention
Watson Reserve is a flat, riverside green space on Pratt Road in Eaton, running along the Collie River. It is a designated dog exercise area with no time restrictions, which makes it one of the more reliable off-leash options in the Shire of Dardanup.
The rules. The reserve, including the path linking through to Leicester Reserve, is a council-designated dog exercise area with no time-of-day restrictions. Dogs must stay under effective control at all times, and the Shire of Dardanup recommends keeping dogs leashed near the river's edge. Keep dogs out of the sensitive bushland and wetland pockets within the reserve, and carry a leash even when your dog is off it.
What's there. The paths are flat, paved and easy underfoot, good for strolling or a longer loop. There is shade, open grass, river views and wheelchair-accessible parking and entrances. Public restrooms are available near the park area.
Getting there. Watson Reserve sits on Pratt Road, reached via Forrest Highway and Eaton Drive, with on-site parking. Local Bunbury/Eaton bus routes run nearby; check Transperth for the closest stop on Pratt Road if you are relying on transit.

When to go. Weekday evenings, Mondays and midweek are the quietest. Sunday mornings and afternoons draw the most dog walkers, so get in early if you want the paths to yourself. Confirm current signage on arrival, as exercise-area boundaries can be adjusted by the Shire.
