Hadley Reserve Dog Off Leash Area

Hadley Reserve is a small off-leash grass rectangle on Hadley Street in North Seaford, roughly 90 by 40 metres. It is a quiet, uncrowded local spot, which makes it a useful low-stress option for nervous or easily distracted dogs.

The rules. Dogs may be off-leash in the designated area and must return immediately on call. Keep your dog on-leash within 10 metres of children's play areas, barbecues or picnics. Declared dangerous or menacing dogs and greyhounds must be leashed at all times, and do not let your dog rush or chase people or other animals. Carry a bag and clean up.

What's there. Facilities are basic: a concrete path, a few unshaded seats and a low table handy for training. Bring your own water and waste bags.

Getting there. Street parking is available on Hadley Street and surrounding residential roads, and it is walkable from local bus routes along Nepean Highway. It is most useful for North Seaford residents close by.

It stays quiet through most of the week, so mid-morning or early afternoon on a weekday is ideal. Good for nervous dogs that do better away from a crowd.
