Seaford Coffee Train

Seaford Coffee Train is a family-run cafe at 113 Railway Parade, a short walk from Seaford station on the Frankston line, with a train obsession the name only hints at. For dog owners the practical detail sits out the back: a large, shaded outdoor courtyard with paved and grassed sections where dogs are genuinely welcome.

The dog setup

Dogs settle in the outdoor courtyard, which has more room than most cafe forecourts and enough space that a nervous dog is not wedged against passing prams. Footpath seating on Railway Parade works for a quicker stop. Water bowls are usually on hand, but carry your own backup. Indoor seating stays people-only.

The vibe

It leans hard into family territory: an indoor play corner with books, a toy kitchen and train sets keeps kids occupied, and the kitchen covers breakfast, brunch and lunch with solid vegetarian options alongside the usual coffee, shakes and toasties. Set slightly off the busier strip, it is calmer than the address suggests. Getting there

Street parking runs along Railway Parade and the station is effectively next door, so coming down on the Frankston line works as well as driving. Hours run 7am to 3pm on weekdays and 8am to 2pm on weekends, so weekend brunch crowds arrive early.

While you're out there

Pair it with the Seaford (Keast Park) Off-Leash Dog Beach, an easy drive or a decent walk away, for a swim before coffee. If the courtyard is full, Cafe W and the Beach Cafe Seaford both sit within the same pocket of the suburb.
