Pimpama Dog Park is a fenced off-leash exercise area on the northern Gold Coast, giving local dogs a secure spot to run and socialise close to home. It is one of a cluster of fenced parks around Pimpama, so it works well as a quick weekday leg-stretch rather than a destination outing.

The rules. Keep your dog leashed until you are inside the fenced enclosure and the gates are closed, then off-leash is fine under voice control. All Gold Coast off-leash areas require your dog to wear a current City of Gold Coast registration tag, and declared dangerous or menacing dogs are not permitted. Carry bags and clean up.

What's there. Expect a fenced run with double-gated entry and some shaded seating for owners. Water can be limited, so bring your own bowl, especially in summer.

Getting there. The park is reached off the M1 at Exit 49 with local street parking. Buses serve Pimpama, but most people drive in with the dog.

Weekday mornings and early afternoons are quietest. Late afternoons and weekends are the social peak. Confirm exact gate condition and hours on the City of Gold Coast park finder before a first visit.
