Baldwin dog park

Baldwin Park sits near the corner of Cotman Way and Sudbury Drive in Pimpama, with an off-leash exercise area tucked inside a larger suburban recreation reserve. It is mostly shaded and surrounded by trees, and the compact size suits small to medium or lower-energy dogs better than big breeds needing a long sprint.

The rules. Dogs must be leashed everywhere outside the marked off-leash zone and are not allowed in the children's playground. Carry waste bags, clean up and keep your dog under voice control. Check the gate latch as you enter - some visitors have reported it not closing reliably, so hold the gate if you are not sure.

What's there. Shaded bench seating, an open patch for fetch and a pleasant walking path. There is no dedicated dog tap or bin right at the dog area, so bring your own water bowl and carry your bags to the bins near the playground.

Getting there. Off the M1 at Exit 49, following local roads toward Cotman Way, with free untimed street parking alongside.

Quietest on Sunday mornings, Tuesdays and mid-week evenings. Because the space is small, larger or reactive dogs do best in those calmer windows rather than the busy weekend afternoons.
