What visitors mention
A large, fully fenced off-leash park inside the Coomera and District Watersports Complex on Old Pacific Highway, wrapped by a scenic lake circuit. The draw is simple: secure fencing, a separate zone for smaller or timid dogs, and a flat lake track for a walk on either side of the run. Open 24/7.
The rules. Keep your dog on-leash until you are inside the fenced enclosure, then off-leash within. Dogs must stay in sight and under effective control at all times, and any dog showing aggression should be removed straight away. Glass containers are not permitted. The lake track around the park is on-leash.
What's there. Drinking fountains with dog bowls, undercover gazebo and shaded benches for owners, and some basic agility equipment. Waste bags are usually stocked but bring your own to be safe, and use the designated bins. Public toilets and a large free paved car park sit near the entrance.
The terrain. Grass and sandy surfaces, quite open with limited shade inside the enclosure, so it heats up in summer. A flat 4km paved track circles the lake for a longer on-leash walk.
Getting there. Just off the M1 Pacific Motorway near the Oxenford exits, opposite the Oxenford central shops. Parking is free and generous, shared with the watersports club. The nearest bus stop is on the Pacific Highway near Tamborine-Oxenford Road, then a short walk.
Nearby with the dogs. The Coomera Watersports cafe and Boatshed Brew both sit lakeside within the same complex, with dog-friendly outdoor seating for a post-run coffee.
