Rosslare Court Dog Off Leash Area

What it is. The Rosslare Court off-leash area sits within Rosslare Court Reserve in Hoppers Crossing, a district-level reserve upgraded by Wyndham City Council with a fenced dog area alongside open lawn and nearby wetlands. It works both as an exercise spot and a place for dogs to socialise.

The rules. Dogs are off-leash inside the designated fenced dog area and must be on-leash in the rest of the reserve. Even off-leash, keep your dog visible, under voice control, and able to be recalled. Lead up when entering and exiting the fenced area, keep dogs out of the on-leash playspace and the wetland and waterway edges, carry a current registration tag, and clean up after them.

What's there. A fenced enclosure to stop bolting, open lawn, new seating through the reserve, and a water tap with a dog bowl. There are accessible public toilets in the reserve, and a separate playground adjacent to the dog zone.

Getting there. Street parking is available on Rosslare Court. The reserve is served by local bus routes near the surrounding Hoppers Crossing thoroughfares, and sits close to Skeleton Creek.

When to go. Weekend mornings from 8:00am to 11:00am and weekday afternoons and evenings are busiest. Mid-morning on a weekday is usually the calmest window if your dog prefers a quieter run.
