Forsyth Park Fenced Dog Park is a small, fully fenced off-leash area on the corner of Silverbrush Way and Perennial Drive, Truganina, tucked behind the residential streets with a playground next door. It is a quiet, community-style park best suited to training and everyday socialising rather than a big day out.

The rules. Entry is through double gates for security. Keep voice control over your dog at all times, and leash up again once you leave the fenced area, the surrounding playground and public park are on-leash. Bins are provided for waste.

What's there. Two zig-zag wooden seats double as informal agility props, plus two standard bench seats. There is a water fountain with water inside the fenced area. A well-maintained playground with a flying fox and sand play sits next door, along with a basketball area. Lighting is limited, so this is a daylight-hours park.

Getting there. Street parking is available along Silverbrush Way. The park is reached via Forsyth Road and the surrounding residential streets; it is built for local, walk-up access rather than a destination trip, so public transport options nearby are limited.

Sunday afternoons and evenings draw the most dogs. Weekday evenings, especially Tuesdays, tend to be quiet, which suits a shy dog needing space to settle.
