Kangaroo Paw Park

Kangaroo Paw Park is a small neighbourhood reserve on the Greenfields side of Mandurah, recently upgraded with a nature-based play fort, ramps and sensory play areas. It is a lead-only park built for a quiet loop and a picnic stop, not a big-dog run.

The rules. Dogs must stay on lead throughout the park. Pick up after your dog immediately and use the provided bins. The park sits among houses, so keep visits to daylight hours and dogs under control around the play equipment and families.

What's there. BBQs and picnic tables, a drinking fountain, sealed pathway access and native "kangaroo paw" landscaping that flowers in spring. There is no dedicated dog water bowl, so bring your own if you are stopping a while.

Getting there. The park sits near the Greenfields/Mandurah boundary, reachable off Mandurah Road or Pinjarra Road, with street parking alongside. Mandurah Station is a short bus ride away on routes serving the Greenfields area.

When to go. Weekday afternoons are quietest if your dog is reactive around kids. Weekend mornings bring families and community activities, so expect more foot traffic. Good for a short lead walk and a picnic rather than a big exercise session.
