Mumma's Eats 'n' Sweets

Mumma's Eats 'n' Sweets is a retro diner-style dessert bar at 47 Mandurah Terrace, right on the strip that runs along the Eastern Foreshore. Dogs are welcome at the footpath tables out front, so the pattern is simple: grab a pavement table, order the cinnamon donuts, then walk it off along the water across the road.

The dog setup

The outdoor footpath seating is where dogs go. It is a busy strip with steady foot traffic and other dogs passing, so it suits a calm dog that will settle under the table. Bring your own water bowl; the team is friendly and will help if you ask, but the frontage is standard street-side dining rather than a dedicated dog setup.

The vibe

This is a sweet-treat stop more than a sit-down dinner: hot cinnamon donuts made fresh, Belgian waffles, stacked freakshakes loaded with cream and toppings, plus burgers, fish and chips and kebabs if you want a proper meal first. Prices are family friendly and the retro diner look keeps kids interested while the donuts cool.

Getting there and parking

Mandurah Terrace is flat and easy to walk, with free public parking nearby and on-street bays along the strip. Check the signed time limits if you are staying for a foreshore loop as well.

Close by with the dogs

The Eastern Foreshore is directly across the road: waterfront lawns and paved paths for an on-lead stroll, with the estuary on one side. For a coffee on the same strip, Perch'd has street-front tables that take dogs, and Murphy's Irish Pub covers the sit-down end of the day. If the dog needs an off-lead run, the fenced dog park at Dudley Park is a short drive south.
