Turquoise Mandurah

Turquoise Mandurah is a spacious, modern brunch cafe in the Dolphin Quay precinct on Dolphin Drive, close to the Ocean Marina, and it is one of the easier cafe stops in town with a dog. The welcome is in the covered alfresco area, which is roomy enough for a dog to settle properly rather than perch on a narrow footpath.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the covered alfresco dining area rather than inside, and there is genuine space beside the tables, which suits a larger or less settled dog better than most cafe strips manage. Staff are used to dogs coming through. Bring your own water bowl to be sure, though on the boardwalk precinct water is not hard to find.

The menu

The kitchen is known for its big breakfast and brunch list, including a bottomless brunch, with wood-smoked salmon, chilli scrambled eggs, waffles and prosecco on the drinks side. The cafe opens daily from 7am to 3pm. Weekday mornings are the calm option if your dog prefers a quieter room; weekends fill with the bottomless-brunch crowd.

Getting there and parking

The cafe is at Shop 1 and 2, 37 Dolphin Drive, Mandurah. Free parking is close by, including street parking and the marina car parks, and access is flat and level from the car park to the alfresco, which makes arrival with a dog straightforward.
