Muzz Buzz - Mandurah

Muzz Buzz Mandurah is a drive-thru coffee stop on Magenta Terrace, and the dog angle is simple: the dog stays in the car, and the window staff hand out free pup cups and biscuits when asked. As a first stop on the way to a walk, it works well.

The dog setup

This is a drive-thru, not a sit-down cafe, so there is no seating and no need to get out of the car. Staff are used to dogs at the window and keep biscuits on hand; ask when you pull up and they will usually send something out for the back seat. Stock of the pup cups can vary day to day, so treat it as a bonus rather than a guarantee.

The vibe

It is part of the WA Muzz Buzz chain, so the menu is the familiar run of coffee, frappes, shakes and donuts, served fast. Doors open early on weekdays at 5:15am, which makes it a legitimate pre-dawn stop before a summer walk, and it runs to 6pm. Weekends start at 6am Saturday and 7am Sunday.

Getting there and parking

The address is Unit 10/12 Magenta Terrace, Mandurah, with the drive-thru lane accessible straight off the road. It is a momentary stop rather than a park-and-stay; there is no cafe seating to plan around.

Make a day of it

The Mandurah foreshore is minutes away for the actual walk, and for a sit-down coffee with the dog afterwards, Turquoise and Perch'd both do dog-friendly outdoor seating. Dudley Park Mandurah Fenced Dog Park is the enclosed option nearby, and Halls Head Dog Beach covers the swim.
