Ashtead Street Fenced Dog Park

Ashtead Street Fenced Dog Park is a fully fenced, grassy off-leash park in a residential pocket of Clyde, with a concrete path through the middle and drainage good enough that it stays drier than most after rain.

The rules. Dogs can run off-leash once inside the fenced area, but keep them on-leash in the surrounding parkland outside the gates. Double gates sit at each end for security, though some don't have spring closers, so double check the latch behind you. Keep your dog within sight and under voice control at all times, and clean up straight away.

What's there. A shelter with a bench gives owners some shade, a water tap and bowl are provided for dogs, and bins are on-site for waste. The park is wheelchair accessible.

Getting there. Street parking is generally available directly on Ashtead Street.

The park tends to be a little busy most days, with Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings the peak. Friday and Saturday afternoons are usually the quietest windows if you want the space to yourselves.
