Pasadena Fenced Dog Park

Pasadena Fenced Dog Park is the City of Casey's fenced off-lead reserve on Bimberry Circuit in Clyde, open around the clock. It is one of the busiest dog parks in the growing Clyde estate belt, and it earns the traffic: a fully fenced run with separate zones, agility play and plenty of company for social dogs.

The dog setup

The park is split so big dogs get the main run and small or shy dogs get a quieter patch, which takes the guesswork out of a mixed visit. Inside the fenced perimeter there is a wooden ramp and platform for climbing, benches close enough to the action to keep an eye on things, and council-stocked bag dispensers, though it pays to carry your own as backup when the dispensers run dry. Grass covers most of the yard and can turn to mud after rain, so expect muddy paws in wet weather. Off lead applies inside the fence, with dogs kept under effective voice control and, ideally, large and small kept in their own zones.

Max: check the gate latch before you unclip. Parks this busy get constant use, and it takes two seconds to make sure both gates have actually shut.

Worth knowing

Timing matters here. Weekends and the after-school window from about 4pm on weekdays draw a crowd, so if your dog is reactive or still learning its manners, aim for a weekday mid-morning, which is the calmest stretch. There are BBQ facilities beside the park if you want to make a morning of it, and the playground next door keeps the broader reserve family friendly.

Getting there and parking

The park sits at the Bimberry Circuit Reserve, 415 Bimberry Circuit, Clyde, with free street parking along the circuit that is usually easy to find. There is no direct public transport, so driving or cycling is the practical way in.

Close by with the dogs

Clyde has two more fenced options on its own circuit of parks: Ashtead Street Fenced Dog Park and Maple Park Fenced Dog Park. For a bigger outing, Casey Fields Dog Park is a short drive north. When it is time for coffee, Cafe Delaray & Co at Clyde North welcomes dogs in its outdoor seating next to open green space.
