Selandra Rise Fenced Dog Park

A small fenced off-leash run inside the Selandra Boulevard reserve in Clyde North, at 130 Selandra Boulevard. The draw is simple: a double-gated, secure space where your dog can have a proper sprint without you worrying about the road, with a playground and BBQ area right alongside for the rest of the family.

The rules. Dogs can be off-leash inside the fenced enclosure, but must be on-leash everywhere else in the surrounding parkland. The entry is double-gated, so close one gate before you open the next to stop any escapes. Bag and bin your dog's waste, and pull any dog showing aggression out straight away. It is a compact run, roughly 40m by 20m, so it suits small-to-medium dogs and short bursts better than a long off-leash roam.

What's there. Inside the fence there is a water tap with a dog bowl and some limited shaded seating. The enclosure is wheelchair accessible. The adjoining reserve adds a playground, BBQ area and a basketball half-court.

Getting there. It sits on Selandra Boulevard with free street parking usually available, and paved paths link it to the surrounding estate. Bus routes serve Clyde North, but driving is the most practical option.

When to go. Weekday mornings and mid-afternoons are quietest. Weekends and early evenings after 5pm get busy with local dogs, when the small footprint fills fast. Good for a quick, secure leg-stretch close to home.
