Cafe Delaray & Co

Cafe Delaray & Co is a community cafe in the Delaray estate at 66 Deoro Parade, Clyde North, and a genuinely dog-welcoming one: the team regularly features four-legged regulars on their socials and posts about dogs being welcome. Good coffee, a playground next door and a sheltered courtyard make it an easy stop on a suburb walk.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor courtyard, which is enclosed and sheltered so it works across most weather, and staff have a warm reputation with dogs. Bring your own water bowl to be safe and check with staff on the day for the current seating arrangement. Hours run 7am to 2pm weekdays and from 8.30am on weekends.

Pepsi: enclosed courtyard means no footpath traffic to watch, which suits us both. Order first, then settle.

The vibe

Reviewers rate the coffee, with sandwiches, breakfast plates and a stone-baked pizza menu rounding things out. It is family-heavy on weekends, helped by the playground beside it, so a weekday visit is calmer if your dog prefers quieter surroundings.

Getting there and parking

The cafe is at 66 Deoro Parade, easily reached off Berwick-Cranbourne Road, with street parking around Deoro Parade and the surrounding estate streets. It is a walk-in-friendly part of the estate, with footpaths looping through the neighbourhood in every direction, so parking close to the door is rarely the hard part; the bigger decision is whether you do the walk before the coffee or after it.

For off-lead time after coffee, the Selandra Rise Fenced Dog Park and Corroboree Street Fenced Dog Park are both nearby, and Humble Merchant at Smiths Lane is another estate cafe within a short drive.
