The Route 1 or 6 tram on Nicholson Street is an easy walk away, and Canning Street is part of a well-used bicycle corridor if you're arriving by bike.

Nearby with the dogs. The Brother's Cup on Canning Street is close by and known for welcoming dogs to its outdoor seating, and there are a handful of cafes further along Nicholson Street within easy walking distance.

It's a small park, so it fills up fast. Monday mornings, Tuesday nights and early Friday mornings tend to be quietest, while weekday evenings from around 6pm and Sunday afternoons draw the biggest crowds. If your dog finds a scrum of other dogs overwhelming, aim for an off-peak window.
