What visitors mention
The lead. Middle Park Fenced Dog Park on Middle Road is a fully fenced, double-gated off-leash area with separate sections for small and large dogs, run by Logan City Council. It sits inside the wider Middle Park reserve, so there's a playground, basketball courts and a bike track right next door if the humans want a reason to linger too.
The rules. Dogs stay on leash until you're through both gates of the fenced area, then it's off-leash inside. Owners must supervise at all times, and any dog showing aggression should be removed straight away. There's no set curfew, but the park has no working night lighting, so plan for daylight visits.
What's there. Both the small-dog and large-dog sections are grassed with good tree shade from mature eucalypts, plus a water station, waste bags and bins, and covered seating for owners. Some basic ramps and agility gear are set up inside the large-dog side.
- Small or timid dogs are best kept to the dedicated small-dog area to avoid being bowled over.
- Bring your own water bowl as backup if you're visiting midweek when the station sees less checking.

Getting there. The park is at 161 Middle Road, Boronia Heights, with on-site parking. Local Logan bus routes run along Middle Road if you're coming without a car.
Nearby with the dogs. There's no dog-friendly cafe strip right at the park, but 107 Coffee Terminal / Sabroso in Browns Plains and Simple Bliss Coffee in Forest Lake are both a short drive away for a coffee stop after the park.
When to go. Weekends and public holidays draw the biggest crowds, with weekday mornings also busy with regulars. Weekday afternoons are the quiet window. Good for small dogs that need their own space, and for anyone wanting a proper fenced run without worrying about a gate left open.
