Chambers Pines Village

Chambers Pines Village is an Ingenia-managed rental community at 657-659 Chambers Flat Road, in a quiet semi-rural pocket roughly halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It is a security-gated village of self-contained cabins next door to the Chambers Pines golf course, and for dog owners in the Logan area it fills a niche: small pets are welcome in rental cabins with management approval, which is rare in this corridor.

Dogs at Chambers Pines Village

Small pets are accepted by application, and only in designated pet-friendly cabins, so the approval conversation with management comes before booking, not after. Once in, the rules are firm: dogs stay on lead everywhere outside the cabin, they are never left unattended on the property, and they are not allowed in communal areas such as the pool, laundry or community rooms. No separate pet fee is published, with any charge settled in the lease agreement at approval.

Worth knowing

The village layout works in a dog's favour despite the restrictions: green spaces and well-maintained paved paths loop the community, and residents walk their dogs through the grounds daily, so the atmosphere is used to leads. The gated entry adds peace of mind for early-morning walks, and the golf course next door gives the whole setting a calm, open feel. Because your dog cannot be left in the cabin, plan day trips around places that take dogs, and bring a familiar bed or blanket to help them settle quickly.

Max: get the pet approval in writing before you pay anything. This is an application process, not a ticked box on a booking form, and the wrong cabin type can undo the whole trip.

Getting there and parking

The village sits on Chambers Flat Road between Logan Reserve and Logan Village, about 40 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast's northern end. Parking or a carport comes with the cabins, and everything south of Brisbane is easiest by car, with Beenleigh and the M1 the main connections.

While you're out there

Logan River Fenced Large Dog Park at Beenleigh is the closest secure off-leash run, and Logan Village to Yarrabilba Rail Trail handles the on-lead leg-stretch days. Luv a Coffee Beenleigh welcomes dogs at its outdoor tables.
