Carvers Dog Park

Carvers Dog Park is a small, fenced off-leash area inside the Carvers Reach estate at 58 Carvers Way, Park Ridge. It suits owners after a quieter, contained space rather than a sprawling regional dog park, and the estate setting keeps traffic light even at busy times of day.

The dog setup

Off-leash is permitted only inside the fenced enclosure; the surrounding estate walking tracks and residential streets are on lead at all times. Owners must clean up immediately and keep their dogs under effective control, and Logan City Council's off-leash rules apply: reliable recall, constant supervision, and declared dangerous or restricted breeds are not permitted.

Inside the fence there is bench seating for handlers and secure perimeter fencing all round, with some natural shade but no reliable water, so bring your own in summer. The broader Carvers Park area within the estate adds barbecues, shaded picnic areas, a toilet block and a one-kilometre walking track, which turns a quick run into a proper outing.

Max: the fence line is the whole deal here. Clip on the moment you step out, because the estate tracks are leash territory.

The one-kilometre estate loop is the bonus most visitors miss: an on-lead warm-up before the fenced run burns off the excitement that otherwise turns into gate crashes. If your dog is new to dog parks, the small footprint also makes it easy to watch every interaction and step in early.

Worth knowing

Go early, before 9am, or midday on a weekday for the quietest run; the after-school hours bring families to the playground and learn-to-ride areas nearby. The estate is still growing, so expect new residents and puppies at peak times.

Getting there and parking

Free street parking runs along Carvers Way and the surrounding streets. Bus access is via Green Road from the Mount Lindesay Highway and Park Ridge Road if you are arriving without a car.
