The deli side is the point of difference: locally sourced produce and take-home goods alongside a popular brunch and lunch line. In-house iced coffees and protein smoothies get regular mentions, and the kitchen turns out bacon-heavy breakfast plates for the early crowd. Hours run from 5:30am on weekdays, 6am on weekends through to late afternoon, among the earliest starts of any Mornington cafe, which makes it a natural pre-walk stop.

Getting there and parking

Benton Square has its own parking, which is the practical advantage here: no circling the Main Street strip for a spot with a dog in the car. The centre sits on Dunns Road on the western side of Mornington, minutes from the Nepean Highway.

For proper dog time, Fossil Beach and Royal Beach both offer off-lead coastline within a short drive, and Civic Reserve's fenced dog park is the local all-weather option. For a sit-down brunch alternative, The Winey Cow and Commonfolk are both established dog-friendly stops in town.
