Good to know. Aurenda is known for its coffee and a breakfast, brunch, and tapas menu, plus the headland view that makes it a popular early stop. It opens early (from around 5am), so it is a good pick before the beach gets busy.

Getting there. The cafe is at 34 Esplanade Headland, Kings Beach. Free street parking is available around the Esplanade but fills up on weekends, so check the side streets like Minchinton Street or the parking near the amphitheatre if the front is full.

Nearby. The coastal walkway runs right past the cafe, and Kings Beach Parkland is a short stroll away for a pre or post coffee walk. Dogs need to stay on lead on the main beach itself.

Go early if you want a table with a view, before the weekend crowds and parking crunch set in.
