What visitors mention
Gomersal Wines is a small, rustic cellar door on Lyndoch Road in the Barossa Valley, working out of an 1887 building with a sprawling verandah over the vines. Dogs on lead are welcome to join you out there.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome on the verandah and in the outdoor seating area overlooking the vineyards, on lead. Water bowls are often put out and staff are used to visiting dogs. Indoor seating is generally for people only, so plan to sit outside if you have the dog with you, and confirm current rules when you book.
Good to know. The cellar door pours traditional, full-bodied Barossa reds, shiraz especially, and does local platters to go with the view. It doubles as a function and wedding venue with a Barrel Room, so it can get busy on event days, worth a quick call ahead if you are planning to bring the dog.
Getting there and parking. The cellar door is at 203 Lyndoch Road, Gomersal SA 5352. Parking is free and on-site, and the cellar door and car park are wheelchair accessible.

Nearby with the dogs. Tanunda, a few minutes away, has parks and walking trails if your dog needs a stretch before or after. The Barossa Visitor Centre publishes a pet-friendly locations factsheet worth checking for more options in the valley.
Go on a quiet weekday if you want the verandah to yourself, weekends and function days bring more people and less room to spread out.
