Watkins Cellar Door

Watkins Cellar Door is a family-run, rustic winery on Hurtle Vale Road in Chandlers Hill, on the edge of the Adelaide Hills overlooking McLaren Vale. It's built around organic, estate-grown wine and wood-fired pizza, and leashed dogs are welcome in the outdoor terrace and lawn areas.

When to go. Weekends bring the live music and the crowds, so get there early for lawn space. Good for dogs happy to settle on a lead through a long lunch.
