Cleland Conservation Park has walking trails not far away, though check the specific zone rules before you commit to a track. Neighbouring Summertown and Uraidla have cafes with outdoor seating if you want another stop.

When to go. Midweek isn't an option here since it's open Friday through Monday, so aim for a quieter Friday or Sunday if you want the terrace without a weekend crowd. Bring your own water bowl as backup in case theirs is in use.
