Taylor Blend cafe

Taylor Blend is a small specialty coffee spot on Hallett Road in Stonyfell, and it doubles as one of the more dog-welcoming coffee stops in Adelaide's eastern foothills. Dogs join you on the covered patio out the front, water bowls are kept handy, and the coffee itself, drawn from a local roaster with a dark, low-acid house style, is the reason locals queue.

Dogs are outdoor-only here: the covered front patio with umbrellas for sun and light rain is where you and your dog will sit. Staff leave water bowls out, though it is worth bringing your own if your dog is fussy. The patio is compact, so tables sit close together during busy periods; if your dog prefers space or gets worried by other dogs nearby, time your visit outside the weekend rush.

The vibe

Service is quick and the focus is coffee: single-origin pourovers, batch brews and espresso alongside cakes and pastries, with a short breakfast and lunch menu. It suits a coffee-first stop rather than a long brunch. The patio faces the street with green space across the way, so there is something for your dog to watch while you wait for the pourover.

Getting there and parking

Taylor Blend is at 38 Hallett Road, Stonyfell. Parking is on-street along Hallett Road and the surrounding suburban streets, and weekend mornings are the tightest window, so arrive early or allow a few extra minutes to find a spot. The cafe opens Wednesday to Friday from 7am to 2pm and Saturday to Sunday from 7am to 4pm, and closes Mondays, Tuesdays and public holidays.
